Al Ahly board of directors issued an official statement on Thursday night, assuring that the club is the sole owner of Al Ahly TV, according to the national laws which regulate the media affairs. The club's board added that the channel’s administration and representatives do not have the right to speak on behalf of the club or oppose its policy. 

Therefore, what was published in the tripartite statement that was issued on Thursday in the media and included the name of Al Ahly TV, contradicts the club’s policies and the club's ownership to the channel, especially that the club's board is in the process of taking legal actions against some of the presenters in different sports channels, who have been inciting sedition between fans and insulting the club and the club's officials.

Finally, those TV presenters have been following double standards as they always criticize Al Ahly’s officials, whose statements are usually a reaction to defend the club's rights and to clarify its situation. On the other hand, they neglect all the statements which incite sedition and spread hatred among the people.
