Dr. Ahmed Abu Abla, head of Al Ahly’s medical staff, revealed the players are expected to be vaccinated for COVID-19 following the second leg of the CAF Champions semis.

Abu Abla continued that after having discussions with Sayed Abdelhafiz, the club’s director of football, they decided to postpone the vaccinations until after the end of Al Ahly’s second leg against Tunisia's Esperance.

Al Ahly will face Esperance next Saturday in Cairo, after defeating the Tunisian team 1-0 in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semis.
