Al Ahly men’s basketball team defeated Gezira SC 70-69 on Friday night in the first leg of the National League semis.

With Gezira one point ahead and 1.2 seconds on the clock, Ahmed Hamdy kept his cool under the ring to score two points and give our men the advantage in the series.

Also, our youth team defeated Gezira’s youth team 61-57 earlier on Friday.

The Red Eagles will face Gezira in the second leg on Saturday.
