Al Ahly men’s handball team defeated Nigeria’s Sokoto Rima 46-26 in our opening game of the African Handball Cup Winners’ Cup group stage.
 
Salle Couverte Al Massira witnessed a great performance from the Eagles, who sealed an impressive victory with a 20-point gap. 

The draw of the competition placed us in Group A alongside FAP Yaoundé of Cameroon, Red Star of Ivory Coast, and Sokoto Rima.
