Al Ahly men’s handball team faces Zamalek on Sunday night in the African Super Cup in Seyni Kountché Hall in Niamey, the capital of Niger.

The Red Eagles are fully prepared for the game after having a training camp in Morocco before heading to Niger to participate in the African Super Cup and the African Cup Winners’ Cup competitions.

Our players, who will wear our iconic red jersey in the game, hope to start their mission in Niger with the Super Cup trophy, which will qualify the winner for the 2022 IHF Super Globe in Saudi Arabia.

“We are ready to give everything and win the title. The players are in high spirits and have big ambitions. Personally, I dream of winning my first trophy with the club.” Daniel Gordo, our head coach, stated.

Gordo will hold a tactical session for his players this afternoon before heading to the court.
