Akram Tawfik, Al Ahly player, travelled to Germany on Thursday to undergo a  surgery to fix his ruptured ACL.

Tawfik was accompanied by Ahmed Abu Abla, the team's doctor, and he will undergo several medical check-ups before having the surgery.

Our midfielder suffered an ACL injury while representing Egypt in the Africa Cup of Nations.
