Amir Tawfik, Al Ahly's director of marketing and transfers departments, stated that the club have not engaged in negotiations with Shoukry Nagib, Ismaily's striker.

Tawfik added that Naguib is a very good player but the club is not interested in signing him as our squad includes multiple talented strikers.
