Al Ahly’s football first team is set to face Zamalek SC on Sunday at 9:30 PM in a postponed game from the fourth fixture of the Egyptian Premier League.

Sunday’s match marks the 15th encounter between both teams in Ramadan; with Al Ahly having the upper hand in half of the games which were played in the holy month.

On the other hand, Zamalek SC were able to win in only 3 of the 14 games, with a draw taking place in the remaining four matches.

While, Mohamed Aboutrika, Al Ahly’s veteran player, still remains to be the last player to score against Zamalek SC in the holy month.

Moreover, Aboutrika also holds the record for the player who scored the most goals in the Cairo derby in Ramadan, 6, with today's encounter being the first in eight years to be held during Ramadan.
