Al Ahly football first team defeated Minyet Samannoud 7-1 on Saturday in a friendly game at El Tetsh Stadium.
The Red Eagles put on a great performance since the beginning of the game, scoring five goals in the first half.
With only two minutes on the clock, Karim Fouad netted the opener, and then Ahmed Abdelkader doubled the score seven minutes later.
In the 40th minute, Amar Hamdy was forced to leave the game injured due to a late challenge from the opponent’s player, and Mahmoud Kahraba joined the pitch instead of him.
We maintained our strong performance, and we managed to add more goals, thanks to the efforts of Hossam Hassan, Taher Mohamed Taher, and Mahmoud Kahraba.
The second half kicked off and our players were searching to add more goals. In the 61st minute, Hassan put his name again on the game’s scoring sheet after blasting a staggering header to make it 6-1.
In the last minutes of the game, Hussien El Shahat went to a one-on-one situation with the keeper and managed to add another goal to make it 7-1 for Al Ahly at El Tetsh Stadium.
The Red Eagles are currently preparing to face Al Mokawloon Al Arab on 19 November in the Egyptian Premier League.
