Mahmoud El Khatib, Al Ahly’s president, congratulated our players, coaching staff, club fans, and members on winning the CAF Champions League title for the tenth time in the club’s history. 

“First of all, I would like to congratulate Al Ahly fans, the people of Egypt, the Arab and Islamic world on the occasion of Eid El Adha.”

They took responsibility in a hard time, promised to win the trophy and they delivered the tenth African title.”

I would like to thank the club’s planning committee, the administrative management, and the coworkers in all sectors.”

“Also, I would like to thank all the clubs in Egypt, Middle East, and Europe who were keen to congratulate us on winning the CAF Champions League title.”  

“Now, we will put the trophy in the museum and start focusing on the new challenges, as we still have to compete in the Egyptian Premier League, Egyptian Cup, Egyptian Super Cup, CAF Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup.”
