Mahmoud El Khatib, the club's president, was keen to attend Egypt’s game against Libya in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers at Borg El Arab Stadium after returning from Saudi Arabia to Egypt on Friday.

El Khatib had a short visit to Saudi Arabia, during which he attended Saudi Arabia's game against Japan in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
