Wadi Degla SC’s former manager, Nikodimos Papavasiliou was keen to attend Al Ahly's football first team’s training session on Thursday at El Tetsh Stadium.

Moreover, Papavasiliou met Al Ahly’s football director Sayed Abdelhafiz and the club’s head coach Pitso Mosimane, as Wadi Degla SC's former manager, Papavasiliou, is currently renewing his (Pro) coaching license.

Additionally, Papavasiliou chose to study Al Ahly on all managerial levels in order to renew his coaching license.

Such a decision came as a result of the strong relations that Papavasiliou has with Mosimane and the rest of Al Ahly’s representatives; in addition to the fact that Al Ahly recently won the CAF Champions League title and came in third place in the FIFA Club World Cup. 

On a similar note, Papavasiliou faced Mosimane twice, once while as a player and the other time while managing Wadi Degla SC.

Lastly, Papavasiliou thanked Al Ahly and all the club’s representatives for their warm hospitality and for helping him in renewing his coaching license.
