Saad Shalaby, Al Ahly executive director, stated that the club’s board of directors, headed by president Mahmoud El Khatib, decided to fund the one-day trip for the fans with 3,000 EGP per person in coordination with the national tourism companies Lucky Tours and Master Travel and that the club’s board got the official approval from Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, the Egyptian minister of youth and sports.

Shalaby said that the club does not have any information regarding the news, which says that some board members are funding private planes to transport our fans to Morocco. 

The club’s executive director added that president El Khatib stressed during Sunday's board meeting that any support of the fans' trips should happen in coordination with the club to facilitate the traveling procedures for Al Ahly fans.
