Mohamed Harb, Egypt’s military attaché to South Africa, received Mahmoud El Khatib in his office on the sidelines of Al Ahly’s football first team delegation trip to South Africa.
Brigadier Harb was keen to gift El Khatib, Al Ahly’s president and head of the club’s delegation to South Africa, with the Egyptian military shield.
On a similar note, El Khatib gifted Harb with the club’s pennant and shield during his visit to the Egyptian embassy in South Africa on Thursday,
Al Ahly will face Sundowns on Saturday at 3:00 PM at Lucas Moripe Stadium in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals, after defeating the South African team 2-0 in the first leg.
