Al Ahly’s first team delegation arrived at the Cairo International Airport, where they will be heading to Qatar on Friday to participate in the FIFA Club World Cup, scheduled from 4-11 February.

Al Ahly’s first team had their last training in Egypt at El Tetsh Stadium on Friday before traveling to Qatar.

Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, Ashraf Sobhy was keen to attend today’s session and motivate the Red Eagles to be on their best performance during the competition.

Moreover, Minister Sobhy held a meeting with Captain El Khatib, where he made sure that team’s preparations are going as planned.

Moreover, President El Khatib thanked Minister Sobhy for his support to the team, appreciating his efforts to help all Egyptian sports clubs.

The Red Eagles will participate for the sixth time in the FIFA Club World Cup, having won the bronze medal in 2006.
