Al Ahly women’s handball team coach Yehia Youssef stated that the team deserved to win the Cairo League title after having a strong run in the competition.

Youssef expressed his happiness after the team lifted the trophy, adding that this achievement will be a huge motivation for the team.  

“It is a great feeling after winning the second trophy this season. We had a strong run in the tournament and it was concluded today with a solid performance against El Shams SC.”

“We are taking steady steps towards securing the treble. We won the Cairo League title only days after lifting the Egyptian Cup trophy and we are leading the Egyptian League table.”

“Our next goal is to maintain the strong run and keep winning. We want to win the Egyptian League title.”

“I would like to thank the club’s board, headed by president Mahmoud El Khatib, and Al Ahly fans for their constant support to the team.”
