Al Ahly host Wydad Casablanca in the CAF Champions League semi-final second leg on Friday night at Cairo International stadium.
We have played several matches against Wydad AC as it became the most Moroccan team we faced in history.
So in order to be fully prepared before tonight’s game, here are some facts about this important clash:

We also met Wydad in the group stage of season 2016. The home match ended in a goalless draw in Cairo, but we succeeded to win the away game in Casablanca 1-0 after an impressive header by Ramy Rabia.
We met them again in the group stage of the Champions League in 2017, as we won the home game 2-0 thanks to two goals from Momen Zakaria and Junior Ajayi, while we lost the away game in Casablanca 2-0.
We faced Wydad in the CAF Champions League final in 2017, and we could not win the title then after we held a draw against them in the home game and we lost the away game in Casablanca 1-0.
