Al Ahly men’s water polo team will face Egypt national team on Monday in a friendly match, as part of the team’s preparations for the new season.

This strong friendly game comes as part of the team’s pre-season schedule to reach the new season in perfect shape.

Walid Wasfy, the team’s assistant coach, spoke about Monday’s friendly match and the team’s pre-season preparations.

“The pre-season is going very well. We want to be ready physically and mentally ahead of the new season.”

“It is going to be a difficult season and we want to be ready. We want to win titles next season and return to dominate the domestic competitions.”

“We have a good team; a good balance between the experienced and young players. Also, we signed new players and filled the gaps in the squad.”
