Ashraf Abdelfattah, Al Ahly's table tennis head coach, expressed his happiness after our men’s table tennis team was crowned champions of the Arab Table Tennis Clubs Championship.

Our men’s table tennis team won the competition after defeating Qatari’s Qatar SC 3-1 in the final.

In his post-match interview, Abdelfattah praised the players’ determination throughout the competition and dedicated this triumph to Al Ahly’s president, Mahmoud El Khatib.

“Our players deserved to win the competition. They were invincible throughout the whole tournament, and showed great determination to defend the title.”

“Moreover, despite the fact that all teams used international players in the competition, yet the hard work and togetherness of the team’s coaching staff and our players led us to secure the title."

Our men’s squad in the competition consisted of the following players: Sayed Lashin, Mohamed El Beiali, Omar Assar, Khaled Assar, Shady Magdy, and Mohamed Shouman.

On a similar note, Al Ahly women’s table tennis team also managed to win the prestigious title on Saturday after defeating Iraq’s South Gas SC 3-0.
