Al Ahly are set to face Niger's UGSN on Saturday at 5:30 PM in the CAF Champions League round of 32 at Stade General Seyni Kountche in Niamey. 

The Red Eagles are keen to start their journey to defend their title by achieving a good result in today's game.

We will be entering today’s encounter as the defending champions of the competition for the second consecutive time, as the Eagles were able to win the last two titles against Egypt’s Zamalek and South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs, respectively.

USGN participate in the competition for the first time in their history, after they qualified from the the first preliminary round by defeating Le Messager Ngozi of Burundi.

Also, USGN participated previously in the 2019-2020 CAF Confederation Cup, and they were knocked out from the preliminary rounds by Algeria's JS Kabylie.
