Al Ahly SC is deeply annoyed by the statements of Mohamed Adel, the referee of our game against Zamalek last Friday, on Radio this morning.

The referee of the game stated that he felt Zamalek players were disturbed after Al Ahly’s third goal, which made the score 3-0 in the first half, and told his assistants that they should be more lenient with Zamalek players and that they have to handle the situation to avoid any disturbance in the game.

In his words, Adel told his assistants that “now everything is possible and Zamalek players are worried and we have to contain their emotions.”

The club is discussing the possible actions to preserve our rights after the referee’s statements.
