Al Ahly women’s basketball team secured an important win over Zamalek in the first leg of the domestic league quarter-finals.

Our ladies had the upper hand in the game and managed to win the match by a large margin.

The game ended 96-68 for our ladies, who will face Zamalek on Sunday in the second leg away from home.

“Despite the injuries in our roster, the players managed to put on a strong display and achieved an important win.” Ali Hashem, the team’s head coach, said after the game.

On a similar note, our youth team defeated Zamalek’s youth team 62-23 earlier on Friday.
