Ahmed Yasser, Al Ahly and Egypt national team player, secured the gold medal in singles at the African Junior Championship, held in Tunisia.

Yasser defeated his teammate at Al Ahly and the national team, Mostafa Hesham, in the competition's final on Saturday.

The duo teamed up to secure the bronze medal in the doubles competition.

"It is a proud moment for me to win the gold medal and I will keep improving to achieve more titles in the future," Yasser said.
