Khaled Mortagy, Al Ahly's treasurer and board member, will be the head of Al Ahly’s delegation to Abu Dhabi instead of Mahmoud El Khatib, the club’s president.

El Khatib will not be able to travel to Abu Dhabi as he will undergo several medical check-ups in Cairo under the supervision of his doctor, who will arrive in Egypt at the beginning of February.
 
Moreover, El Khatib will hold a meeting with the team’s administrators on Sunday to coordinate with them all the arrangements regarding the team’s delegation in UAE.

Al Ahly football's first team delegation will head to Abu Dhabi on Monday to participate in the FIFA Club World Cup.
