Mohamed Sherif was on the score sheet for another game in the CAF Champions League as he helped the Red Eagles achieve an important win over Al Merrikh. 

Sherif spoke after the game about the victory and the importance of having a strong finish to the group stage. 

“It was a difficult match against a tough team. We played against Al Merrikh before and we are aware of their abilities.”

“We managed to score early in the game; however, we dropped deep afterwards and conceded the equalizer.”

“We did not qualify yet. We still have another game to play against Al Hilal here in Cairo. Winning today’s game was very important for us in order to increase our chances of qualifying to the next round.”
