Ammar Hamdy, Al Ahly’s midfielder, traveled to Qatar on Monday to continue the first phase of his recovery program.

Hamdy will undergo a medical check-up on Tuesday in Qatar, according to Ahmed Abu Abla, the team’s doctor.

Hamdy began the first phase of the rehabilitation program on Friday to recover from his ACL injury on Friday.
