Ahmed Abdelkader, Al Ahly’s attacking midfielder, spoke following the team’s 1-0 victory over Al Ittihad of Alexandria on Wednesday in the Egyptian Premier League.

In his post-match interview Abdelkader reflected on the game and talked about the team’s ambitions for the upcoming period.

“We’ve achieved the most important thing out of the game and that is the victory. Some of the players are tired and; therefore, we had to use some fresh legs today in order to guide us to the victory.”

“I try to do my best for the team and thanks  to God we are on the right track. We are looking forward to winning every game despite having to play a lot of matches in short amount of period.”

“Finally, I would like to thank our fans for their support. We will do our best in the future in order to meet their expectations.”
