Ahmed Abu Abla, Al Ahly’s doctor, has provided injury updates on Mohamed Abdelmonem and Amr El Soulia, who missed the first leg against ES Setif last Saturday. The duo traveled with the squad to Algeria to face ES Setif in the second leg of the CAF Champions League semis. 

Abu Abla confirmed that our defender Abdelmonem is fully recovered from his adductor muscle injury and he is ready to boost our defensive line in the game.

Abu Abla added that El Soulia’s condition is improving and the player continues his recovery program, aiming to be fit for the game.

The medical staff will further assess his injury and monitor his progress ahead of the game.
