Ricardo Soares, Al Ahly head coach, gave his thoughts about our 2-0 victory tonight over Petrojet in Egypt Cup final.

Our coach said that the game was very important and that the players managed to seal a precious victory to qualify for Egypt Cup final.

“It was very difficult to prepare for Petrojet’s match because we have just joined the club. However, I am happy with the players’ performance and their determination to achieve the victory.”

“Despite that, we did not have a lot of time to prepare, but the players managed to implement the coaching staff’s instructions, especially in defence."

“We still have a lot of work to do and the team’s performance will be improved in the upcoming period. I am currently focused on the players’ recovery process to avoid the injuries, due to the team's busy schedule.”
