A Staggering 4-0 Win at Home

Alahly, Egyptian Premier League, Football

Al Ahly finished the league season of 2021-2022 by achieving a sensational 4-0 win over Ceramica Cleopatra at Al Ahly WE Al Salam Stadium.

Our players put on a great performance tonight and we managed to score four beautiful goals, thanks to the efforts of Ahmed Gharib, Ramy Rabia, Luis Miquissone, and Rafaat Khalil.

First Half:

The game started with our players trying to score the early opener.

After missing several attempts, we finally broke the deadlock in the 35th minute. Ahmed Abdelkader received the ball and sent a beautiful pass to Ahmed Sayed Gharib.

Our striker sprinted towards the goal and converted the ball into the bottom of the net to give us a 1-0 lead before the break.

We upped our pressure afterward to double the score, but our attempts were blocked by the opponent’s defenders.

Second Half:

We started the second half with frontline pressure, as we were keen to add another goal.

However, Ceramica’s players tried to equalize, but our defenders stood their ground and managed to clear all their attempts.

In the 63rd minute, the referee awarded us a penalty due to a late challenge against Ahmed Gharib inside the box.

Ramy Rabia stood behind the ball and managed to convert the ball into the back of the net to make it 2-0 for the Red Eagles.

In the 71st minute, Mohamed Mahmoud and Rafaat Khalil joined the game instead of Ahmed Abdelkader and Ahmed Gharib.

Three minutes later, Luis Miquissone scored the third goal with a clinical finish. In the 75th  minute, Hamza Alaa entered the field instead of Moustafa Shobier.

In the 77th minute, Khalil announced his arrival with a beautiful left-foot finish to gift us a 4-0 lead at our home.

Two minutes later, Ricardo Soares made another two substitutions, as Mohamed Sharqia and Aly Amr joined the match instead of Mohamed Abdelmonem and Luis Miquissone.

The minutes went on and we kept trying to add another goal, but the opponent’s defenders blocked our attempts until the referee blew his final whistle.
