After a very thrilling game against Modern Future FC, the Red Eagles captured the Egyptian Super Cup for the 14th time in our history.

The Eagles had a strong start and controlled the game well then our center-forward Mahmoud Kahraba gave us the lead with a header in the 13th minute, then Hussien El Shahat doubled the score making it two-nil for Al Ahly by the end of the first half.

The second half started with our opponents making a strong comeback and scoring 2 goals, making things more complicated for both teams, the Eagles tried to score more goals to put an end to the game but the final whistle was blown leading to the extra time.

If we know anything, we for sure know that Al Ahly never gives up, and with that being said, when the extra time started, our striker Anthony Modeste gave us the lead again after a beautiful assist from Ali Maaloul, and to confirm the win even more, Karim Fouad scored the fourth and final goal of the game making The Red Eagles the champions of the Egyptian Super Cup for the third time in a row.
