The women’s handball team has secured a spot in the quarter-finals of the African Clubs Championship after a fantastic 35-27 victory over Congo’s AS Otoho.
The Reds dominated the first half, finishing with a 16-10 lead, and maintained their control throughout the second half, eventually sealing the win. This win places the Reds at the top of Group B with a full mark.
Nasra Eid, the team’s captain was named the best player of the match for her outstanding performance.
The Reds are set to face Angola’s Primeiro de Agosto in the quarter-finals of the African Championship tomorrow.
