The Red Eagles delivered a dominant performance, securing a commanding 4-0 victory over Ismaily at Borg El Arab Stadium in the Egyptian Premier League.
From the opening minutes, the Eagles dictated the tempo and created numerous scoring opportunities. Their early pressure paid off in the 8th minute when Nejc Gradišar was fouled inside the box, earning a penalty for Al Ahly. Marawan Attia stepped up and confidently fired the ball into the net, marking his first goal for the club since joining in January 2023.
The Eagles continued to press forward, creating several dangerous chances. However, despite their dominance, they went into halftime with a 1-0 lead.
After the break, the Eagles wasted no time in extending the lead. In the 51st minute, Emam Ashour unleashed a powerful strike that rattled the crossbar before crossing the line, making it 2-0.
Relentless in attack, the Eagles found their third goal in the 83rd minute when Emam set up Hussein El Shahat, who fired the shot with precision.
Just four minutes later, Ahmed Reda sealed the victory in spectacular fashion, scoring his first goal for the club with a stunning long-range strike into the top corner, making it 4-0 for the Reds.
The Red Eagles maintained complete control in the closing moments, preventing Ismaily from posing any serious threats before the final whistle.
