After an intense showdown at Cairo Stadium, the Red Eagles were held to a 1-1 draw against Zamalek in the Egyptian Premier League.

The Reds dominated and pushed forward from the start, creating several dangerous chances. Emam Ashour came close to breaking the deadlock in the first half with a powerful strike that rattled the crossbar. Despite our relentless attacks, the first half ended goalless.

After the restart, the Reds maintained the attacking approach and Koller added more energy to the team with Achraf Bencharki replacing Mohamed Abdallah. 

The breakthrough finally came in the 72nd minute when Bencharki connected with a pinpoint cross from Nejc Gradišar and fired a spectacular header into the net, giving Al Ahly the lead.

The opponents responded in the 84th minute as Mahmoud Bentayg found the equalizer.

The Eagles continued to push hard for a late winner, but they were unable to find the back of the net. Moments later, the final whistle blew, leaving both teams with a point each.
