Al Ahly director of football Sayed Abdelhafiz stated that the on-field disagreement which happened between the Egyptian Football Association member Mohamed Fadl and our player Mahmoud Kahraba was exaggerated in the media.

“We all know that these bilateral relations are full of respect and we do not have any intention to insult anyone, especially as we were celebrating after winning the league title.”

“I watched the video several times and I spoke with Mahmoud Kahraba and also spoke with several people who were there during the incident.”

“Kahraba did not offend Fadl at any level, and he also affirmed that he respects him and he also has a good relation with him.”

“It seems that there was a misunderstanding between them, but Al Ahly will not accept any insult towards the Egyptian Football Association, who exerted great effort to resume the season once again amid Coronavirus pandemic.”
