Al Ahly’s head of the medical staff, Dr. Ahmed Abu Abla, announced that the team tested negative for COVID-19, ahead of our trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo on Saturday.

The Red Eagles are set to face AS Vita Club in the fourth fixture of the CAF Champions League group stage on 16 March.

The team underwent the COVID-19 test as part of the precautionary measures which are being applied amid the coronavirus pandemic.
