Al Ahly women’s basketball player Dina Amr spoke after our 82-80 victory tonight over Alexandria Sporting Club, which crowned us as the champions of the Egyptian Cup. 

“Al Ahly’s spirit led us to pull the comeback and clinch the title. Also, seeing the trophy on the podium gave us a great motivation to achieve tonight’s victory.” 

“We managed to overcome a lot of obstacles during this season. We have missed several players due to them being injured, but in the end, we managed to deal with all these difficult circumstances.” 

“We promise our fans that we will fight to win all the upcoming titles, and we are ready to compete in the Egyptian league, the domestic league, and the African championship.”
