Al Ahly women's basketball team defeated Sporting SC in the first leg of the National League final.

Suez Canal Authority Hall witnessed a strong performance from Al Ahly and Sporting SC but our ladies had the upper hand at the end to win the match 84-73.

Al Ahly head coach Ali Hashem counted on the experienced players in the match, who helped the team control the game by the strong defense and quick decisive attacks. 

On a similar note, Al Ahly youth team defeated Sporting SC youth team 77-60.
