Al Ahly men’s basketball team lost to Gezira SC on Monday in the Egyptian League.

Abdullah Al Faisal Hall witnessed a strong performance from both teams; however, the Red Eagles failed to clinch the victory in the dying seconds of the match.

Gezira SC won the first and second quarters with the following results 20-18 and 35-33, respectively.

Our coaching staff then made several substitutions in the third quarter which helped the Red Eagles pull a comeback, ending the third quarter 58-53.

However, Gezira SC came back in the score and won the fourth quarter and the match 81-77.
