Al Ahly players Walter Bwalya and Hamdy Fathy underwent a doping test, following our victory over Palmeiras of Brazil in the third-place playoff of the FIFA Club World Cup. 

Al Ahly won the second FIFA Club World Cup bronze medal in the club’s history after defeating the Brazilian side 3-2 on penalties.
