Al Ahly President Captain Mahmoud El Khatib traveled to the UAE on Saturday afternoon to receive the "African Club of the Century & Top Winning Titles in the Middle East" award at the Globe Soccer Awards event in Dubai.

Al Ahly President will receive the award in the ceremony, which will be held on Sunday 27 December, and will see the presence of many football stars and some of the leading figures in world football.

El Khatib earlier received an invitation from Globe Soccer Awards to attend the event, during which the organization will honor Real Madrid as the Club of the Century and Al Ahly as the Club of the Century in Africa and Club with the Most Titles in the Middle East.
