Hamdy Fathy, Al Ahly’s midfielder, underwent a scan on his arm after completing a special recovery program under the supervision of the team’s medical staff.

Dr. Ahmed Abu Abla, head of Al Ahly’s medical staff, requested that Fathy undergoes a scan on his arm in order to make sure that the player is fully fit once again; especially, after taking part in the team’s past training sessions.

Fathy suffered an injury in his arm during Egypt’s game against Kenya in the African Qualifiers, which caused him to undergo surgery to fix the fracture.

On a similar note, the Reds are currently preparing to face RS Berkane of Morocco in the CAF Super Cup next Friday at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
