Al Ahly sent an official statement to the Egyptian Handball Federation regarding the club’s upcoming two matches against Tala’ea El Geish and Zamalek on the 12th and 13th of November.

Ahly informed the federation that it would be better for the team if both matches were postponed until the end of the first round of this season’s league in order for the technical staff to prepare the players of the 2000 and 2002 teams.

The Egyptian Handball Federation announced earlier that those two matches which are remaining from last season’s league will be played only by players who were part of last season’s squad. Thus, Al Ahly won’t be able to play with the new players in order to replace those who left.
