Ahly’s football first team delegation to South Africa, headed by Mahmoud El Khatib, the club’s president, arrived at O.R. Tambo International Airport.

Our delegation arrived in South Africa in the early hours of Tuesday, ahead of our game against Mamelodi Sundowns on May 22nd in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.

On a similar note, the Red Eagles were able to seal a precious 2-0 victory over Sundowns in the first leg on Saturday at Al Ahly WE Salam Stadium.
