Ahmed El Fadly, Egypt’s Ambassador to South Africa, has sent a dinner invitation on Thursday to Mahmoud El Khatib, the club’s president and the head of Al Ahly’s delegation to South Africa.

President El Khatib is expected to attend the dinner, with the presence of Al Ahly's administrative staff and media representatives.

On a similar note, the Red Eagles are set to face Mamelodi Sundowns in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals next Saturday, after beating them 2-0 in the first leg in Cairo.
