Nasser Maher, Al Ahly’s attacking midfielder, weighed in on Saturday’s match against Esperance of Tunisia in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semis.
“Esperance is a great team. They have a lot of experienced players, which further complicates the game.”
“We are well aware of the importance and the difficulty of the game; however, we came here to achieve a positive result.”
“Facing Esperance can be divided into two halves, the first half is played in Tunisia; whereas, the second half is in Cairo. “
Maher, who is also a player in the Egyptian U-23 national team, stated that the last training camp was beneficial for the team.
