Al Ahly defender Ayman Ashraf stated that all the team players will do everything they can to show a great performance against Bayern Munich in the FIFA Club World Cup semis.  

We caught up with our defender ahead of our game in the semi-final against Bayern Munich.

“We started watching many Bayern Munich games to be fully ready for the match. All the players are concentrated and prepared.”

“We will have a meeting with the coaching staff to analyze our performance against Al Duhail SC and correct our mistakes in the game to show a better performance against Bayern Munich.”

“I am very happy with the support of our fans since we touched down at Doha. Their presence and constant support in the match against Al Duhail SC was a huge motivation for us during the match.”

“We had the desire to defeat Al Duhail SC and reach the semi-finals. All the players were in their highest level to get the ticket to the semis.”

“Our backline had a solid game against Al Duhail SC’s attackers. We analyzed them in the build-up to the match and we managed to break all their attempts with the help of our midfielders.”

“We followed a good tactic to stop Al Duhail SC’s striker Al Moaez Ali and the difference in height was not a problem for me.”
