The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) held a meeting with Al Ahly’s delegation in Doha via video conference on Saturday afternoon.
FIFA welcomed Al Ahly’s delegation, a few days ahead of the opening of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Al Ahly players, coaching staff, Eng. Khaled Mortagy, Al Ahly’s board member and the club’s Coordinator in FIFA, Sayed Abdelhafiz, the club’s Director of Football, Samir Adly, Administrative Director, the team’s medical and administrative staff and Gamal Gabr, Head of Al Ahly’s Media Department attended the meeting.
Amir Tawfik, Al Ahly’s Director of Marketing and Transfers, Ashraf Omar, Deputy of Marketing and Transfers, Hanan El Zainy, Al Ahly’s Director of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, and Dr. Amr Moheb, the team’s interpreter, also attended the meeting.
FIFA officials gave Al Ahly’s delegation a detailed explanation about the technical instructions of the tournament, the amendments on the game rules, and the regulating rules of the tournament as well as some technical and regulatory instructions regarding Al Ahly’s participation in the competition.
FIFA officials also explained to Al Ahly’s delegation all the precautionary and preventive measures to combat the spread of COVID-19.
Al Ahly will take on Al Duhail SC on 4 February in the first round of the competition.
