FC Bayern Munich's forward Thomas Müller stated that Al Ahly were a tough opponent in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-finals. 

Müller added that his side deserved to win the game as they were the better team.

"We are so happy after qualifying to the Club World Club final. Al Ahly are like FC Bayern Munich in Africa. They are a great team, but we were the better side and deserved to win."

Al Ahly are set to face Palmeiras of Brazil in the bronze medal game on Thursday. The Red Eagles are keen to repeat our previous achievement in 2006 by winning the bronze medal.
