Al Ahly basketball manager Ashraf Tawfik, revealed to us that he is very proud of being an Al Ahly fan since his childhood, even before he became a player and then the team’s head coach. 

Tawfik said that he was raised in the club, and Al Ahly’s values and spirit became part of his personality, which are always the secret behind winning the titles. 

“Fighting on winning the games is a major habit for the team. Winning all the titles is our main goal and we are keen to achieve it to meet the high expectations of the club’s officials and also our fans.”

“We expect to face a lot of difficult challenges in the upcoming period, especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic, but we promised to give our best to overcome these challenges and t have a great season.”

“Our game against Al Ittihad Alexandria in the Super League differs totally from the one in the national league. They reinforced their squad after getting their American player back, but I have great faith in my players.”

“Our board of directors, headed by Captain Mahmoud El Khatib, gave us all the needed support and they signed a lot of great players. Also, the Sporting directors exerted a great effort to provide the team with the perfect conditions, so I hope that we will be able to win all the upcoming titles.”
